This is the absolute easiest way to make affiliate sales, and yet so many newbies will completely ignore this approach in lieu of selling digital downloads. If you are building a weight loss site for example, which do you think has greater traction and name recognition to the masses - an ebook, or a popular weight loss program like Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig or Medifast?
My mother I always tell my readers, would NEVER buy an eBook on how to lose weight, but she WOULD (and has) bought any (or all..:-) of the popular programs that she sees in the newspaper, hears on the radio and sees on TV. And by and large, if you REALLY want to sell a lot of stuff online, and make REAL money, (equally as fast as hocking digital downloads) you need to be thinking of buyers like my Mom.
Ok, sounds great! Where do I find these sorts of offers?
It's very easy - any of the popular online affiliate networks like CJ, Linkshare and the others carry MANY programs with tons of national name recognition. The networks are free to join, and the the programs are as well. Remember, it's REALLY easy to build a content site around any of these offers, as the content creation is infinitely easier when the product is a well known commodity! Testimonials are easier to find, and the millions of dollars some of these brand names spend on OFFLINE advertising works to your benefit as well....as if you can build a site that ranks well, you'll be the beneficiary of the online searches folks are doing to BUY what they heard about OFF...:-) Really very easy stuff indeed!
